Denim Joint didn't start as a business plan. It started as a feeling.
Growing up in the Bronx, finding clothes that actually fit your style — without driving to some mall or spending half your paycheck — wasn't easy. The options were either too expensive, too generic, or just not us. So we decided to build something different, something the neighborhood actually needed.
We opened our doors at 735 E Tremont Ave back in 2003 and kept it straightforward from day one: real clothes, fair prices, and people who actually know what they're talking about. No fancy displays. No attitude. Just a shop where you can walk in, look around, and find something you're genuinely excited to wear.
Twenty-three years later, that hasn't changed.
Denim is where our heart is — always has been. There's something about a great pair of jeans that just works. Dress it up, dress it down, wear it every day for three years straight. We built our store around that foundation. But the collection grew too, because the culture grew with us.
